March is the beginning of spring, where the streets started clearing up, grass grows stronger in the yards and cars that have accumulated dirt, dust and grime need to be cleaned. It might seem like a particularly challenging task to clean your car, especially if it starts to rain a lot (spring showers bring May flowers idea), but the rain won’t get off all that has been compiled and gathered from the winter months.
Spring cleaning your car isn’t just the exterior either.
You’ll want to clean all the exterior parts but also get out anything that might have been accrued while getting in and out of the vehicle. You might not realize how many foreign objects you might have brought in to your vehicle or things that you thought you lost; receipts, money, school papers, toys, food, candy, etc…
Clean Your Car From Top To Bottom, Inside And Out
Remove all the stored junk you have had from the winter and things you won’t need anymore because of the season change, like scrapers, gloves, boots, and take a vacuum to the interior.
Wipe down all the leather and paneling, nooks and crannies. If you aren’t feeling up to the task of washing your car, take it to a local car cleaning service to clean the exterior and grab a wax. Once all that cleaning is done, give it the once over visually.
Look to make sure there isn’t a rust starting or broken items that you didn’t realize were there. Cracks in the windshield, mirrors, and any other auto parts that you have been putting off to fix, this is the best time to do so.
